Ok, so quality is lacking in this. It's probably not done, but I wanted to get it down. I'll try to get it on the uke.
Anyway, future plans are to transfer everything to www.jenniferteeter.com/music
That will be your center for Teeter goods and services.
Anyway, enjoy my little goodbye to blog spot.
Disclaimer #1/ Brag: I did this in one take! ONE TAKE! Sure I make mistakes, I'm a bit off key, the balance is wrong. But this is the first mildly acceptable first take to date for the teeterdays project. And it was recorded at 2am.
Disclaimer#2: Given the lighthearted nature of the song, I want to assume that you'll assume that it's completely fictional. But just for show, things are going great, no worries, twitter-boy and I are still making it work. Or you may have no idea what I'm talking about.

Washable Tattoo
I know what you're thinking. You're thinking that I've gotten lazy and haven't been updating because I'm bad at keeping up with a blog(I am). Well you're WRONG (no you're not). I'll have you know, I have had to take on a rigorous work schedule (actually working the hours I'm paid for). I have to be there EVERY DAY (except Saturday) and work Filipino sweat shop hours (10 to 1)! I haven't had the time or the energy to play the ukulele. Do you realize how much effort goes into playing the ukulele? (Some.)
Anyway, I put this down in less than an hour so it's messy, but then so is everything on this site. If you can name the famous rhythm that stars in this song (or name who made it famous), I'll write you into the lyrics of an upcoming song. That's cool right? Better than money for sure! I'll give you a hint, it's called the "Blank Blankley Beat". AND I'll give you another hint. The musician who made this beat famous died recently.
Look, you're learning things! Which makes sense because this song sounds like it's for children (or performed by children). Shut up parentheticals! This song also has guitar in it, which is new. I haven't played guitar much since I bought my uke. It's really big and hard to play.
Enjoy.
P.S. My next post will have a bonus since I've been lazy.
P.P.S. I love comments more than life.

No Post Today
It's God's day.
I'm just kidding. I want to eventually do some Bible story videos on Sundays, but I don't have my camera because my mother has it.
Speaking of my mom, watching Paula Deen on the food network is really like watching a show about who my mother could've been (emphasis on the could've). Especially when I'm watching Paula's Party. It's freaky.

I hate you all (not really)
The lyrics to this song come from this posting on craig's list.
Nothing says disgruntled like a girl and an out of tune ukulele.
Not really...unless that girl with the ukulele is Ani DiFranco.
Enjoy.
I don't actually have this much hatred. I just thought it might be funny as a song. I am as light as a feather, I am as happy as an angel, I am as merry as a school-boy. I am as giddy as a drunken man.

Secret Cover
So I didn't have enough fodder for the two posts I have in my mind for which I need suggestions (see previous post). I also decided that I'm allowed one cover per week, as long as I make a valiant effort to make it different from the original. This is my cover for week one. If you guess what it is and who it's by in the first 15 seconds A. I've failed at covering the song in an original manor and B. You've failed as a human being. Or you we're a 9 year old girl in the 90s.
But I don't want to give too much away. I spent a long night putting this together and downloaded audacity 3 times to make it work again. I'm not going to lie, there was some slamming of the mouse. But in the end it came out perfectly mediocre. Make note of the parts where I'm laughing with myself into a dark and dreary madness.
Enjoy!

Two things I need before the next post
Examples of awful things/national tragedies/celebrity deaths that have happened in the past 1 to 3 years.
AND
A song that would be funny for Billie Holiday to sing.
Help me out in comments my friends.

Confessional Fugue
WARNING: If you don't appreciate choral music, you won't like this song.
WARNING: If you do appreciate choral music your ears may be offended by my attempt to sound like an old church lady. It kind of sounds like when Ann is sinigng on Arrested Development.
Chances are you can't understand the words.
Anyway this is a song about what I should do but don't. It's also a fugue. It's also in two parts and while I could've combined the parts I wasn't feeling this one so I'm just sticking it up here.
Enjoy?
P.S. If the city would bring me my freaking bin, then I totally would.

Compromise
Who knew I could play trumpet? Never had a lesson!
This is more my usual genre: campy, stupid, mildly funny songs. It's begging for some percussion but seeing as I don't have a drum set or garage band, creating a beat is difficult. I considered making an impromptu maraca for this song, rice in a solo cup or something, but I was over come with lazy. Maybe I'll do better later.

O.G.
First entry. I guess they can't all be gems. I think what makes me the proudest about the song is my whistling skills. This song chooses to not rely heavily on lyrics. I wanted it to seem like you were listening to someone playing a dinky little song in a forest...in the 1920s.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.
